How to connect an existing repository with bitbucket to a project in visual studio, and manage changes from the studio?

Go to the repository on the BitBack, click Clone in the menu on the left, select HTTP and copy the link (the same for GitHub / Gitlab / any other repository - you need http link to the repository):
Then in Team Explorer choose to create a new repository:
In the Local Git Repositories section, choose Clone, specify the link to the repository and where to clone:
Is done.

- @NickVolynkin cannot, only online supports . In any case, I never learned how to prepare it, so I use https everywhere, since there is a tick "remember username / password" :). - andreycha
