Hello. I want to implement the advancing BottomMenu as in the standard messenger on Android 6, but I can not figure out which way to dig. I found similar requests for SO, but they either do not have a response yet or offer to use third-party libraries. But, I understand that it was implemented by standard methods. In principle, something similar can be found when creating a new project in Android Studio called "Scrolling Activity" , but there it is a full-screen version. In short, tell me if someone has worked with this. Here are screenshots of how it looks.

Those. When you click on the image of the contact, the image in 1 screenshot is obtained. With further "slide" up CollapsingToolbar collapses and opens all the content (as in 2 screenshot). With the reverse "slide", it again collapses the opposite state.

UPD as suggested, this is the BottomSheetFragment. Perhaps someone made such its implementation?

Thank you in advance for your response.

Probably you are talking about BottomSheetFragment - YuriSPb
  • @YuriySPb looked - sort of, it is, but I’m not completely sure. Because there, with full disclosure, it turns into a kind of Activity with its toolbar. - ahgpoug

You need a BottomSheetDialogFragment.

It may not appear completely, not in full height on the screen.

It may have limited height and not cover all content.

He can turn around / turn around.
