Hello, Mint 17.3 has received automatic updates for php5.6. The system suggested leaving the old php.ini or replacing it with a new one. I chose to "download a new shell so that ..." I literally do not remember. All at once hung.

Then restarted sudo dpkg --configure -a and left the current php.ini and then began to receive the following error:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'ErrorException' with message 'mb_convert_variables(): Cannot handle recursive references' in /var/www...

How to fix it and because of what it is, did not google anything. (

This error came along with the update:
    https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=73322
Its correction in the process, so there are two options: wait for updates or roll back.
