I can not find a way to get through vb .net the line "parent", which is visible in the device manager, in the properties of the equipment, in the information tab, in the drop-down list "property".
Tried through classes: Win32_: Win32_PnPEntity Win32_SerialPort and others
In these classes there are many properties available drop-down list, but the "parent" is not present.
A little bit about the problem. There is equipment that connects to the computer via usb, but inside it contains the com_port - usb transition. Installation takes place through a special driver. That is, I see the device in both usb ports and com ports.
