Interested in hosting issues on the local computer. There is an application on Flask. Based on this, there are a number of questions:

  • how to replace host (ip): port with the name of the site
  • Do I need to buy this name somewhere?
  • Is there any intelligible description / article / tutorial on this topic?
  • Does the machine have a public IP? If not, then a service like ngrok.com is needed. Are there any reasons not to use the free PaaS instead of the local machine ? - jfs
  • There is no static. With regards to PaaS, I understand that there are some troubles there (Will I be able to ask my domain name there ... in the same gae?). - Constantin spit
  • If you are afraid to use PaaS, then administering yourself is relatively more difficult and therefore even less desirable for you (if you don’t have an educational goal, you just want to raise the service). What can and cannot depend on the particular service selected. - jfs
  • Suppose I posted an application on Azure. How can I change the domain name? - Constantin Palyanichka
  • one
beat in google: azure custom domain name. If something is not clear, then ask a separate Stack Overflow question, specifically about it (what steps were performed, what were you expecting to receive, what did you get in detail, describe it step by step). - jfs
