Error creating Entry Meschanskiy-FIVE_OÃÆ'Į?aUcs28 cannot be created: phar error: invalid path "Meschanskiy-FIVE_OÃÆ'Į?aUcs28" contains illegal character as I understand this is not valid for utf-8 character encodings, but how to avoid creating a tarball through buildFromDirectory?

- What version of php do you have? Presumably it was corrected in 2014, this mistake. - Visman

- I came to the conclusion that in php these are versions of PharData, a buggy thing and a console version works several times faster. Decided to apply it. From the console, tar.gz is created immediately without an intermediate tar and there is no limit on the length of the file name to 100 characters. If someone decides to do this via php with large amounts of data and a large number of files, I highly recommend it. - alias
