There is a map created in Tiled.
Width / height 40x40.
Visible area (camera viewing area of the map) 10x10.
How is the map drawn when:

mapRenderer.setView(camera); mapRenderer.render();

Only what gets into the 10x10 camera, or are all 40x40 sprites drawn even behind the camera?
Or is it customizable?

    The documentation says that the boundaries in which the map is displayed are also set.

    Also on GitHub, you can find the code itself , which renders, and see that it renders only those tiles that are in the map

    So the answer to the question - yes, displays only those that enter the camera. I note that only TYLES that enter the camera are displayed. If the tile size is larger than the cage, it will not be visible.

    • Thank! "If the size of the tile is larger than the cage, it will not be visible." - here I did not understand. - Vito-Z80
    • Texture size can be larger than cell size - Qertu Uerty
    • Well, so it is more, it is scaled to the size of the cell. - Vito-Z80
    • There are cases where one cell climbs onto another. - Qertu Uerty
