Good day. Can you please tell me in wordpress (4.6) how to remake the admin panel of individual pages, for example, so that the user can only see his posts. Plug-ins and scripts in functions do not quite fit, because I want to “isolate” the author from other users so that he also literally did not see anything from other users, and on the comments page the counters work incorrectly and when adding a post, categories of other users are displayed. I want to do without the forest of functions as something elegant.
To sum up the question is how to partially replace the admin panel with bone-tamplified, thanks for the ideas.

  • Create your user roles, assign them the rights you need. In WordPress for this excellent opportunity - alenkins
  • @alenkins Well, so the user the author sees the entire list of articles, and the counters at the top take into account "all" the authors of the article, as if the task is for the author to see nothing but his data, settings. Thanks for the comment, if there are more ideas I will be grateful. - Igor Kalamurda
