What I expect: chrome never ceases to synchronize passwords, history, does not require re-login again with each reboot.
What is happening: as many have already guessed, a yellow triangle appears in the upper right near the account name and a message that you need to re-log. Another pops up in the OS message about keyring (requires entering a password).
