It may also have a margin for the body, which sets the user-agent (in chrome, this is 8px). Try nullifying the styles or at least the margin of the body.

    If we are talking about the header of the site (footer) which is enclosed in a div and you want to press it to the edges of the screen, then the CSS code:

    div{ position:absolute; top:0px; left:0px; }

    These CSS properties can help solve a problem, but be careful with absolute positioning - for the remaining elements on the page, your footer will cease to exist and they may behave unpredictably. If absolute does not fit, try position:fixed;
