Hello. Who can faced this question and knows how to solve it. Site on Bitrix, collected user form. And everything is of course good, but I cannot figure out how to change the appearance of these fields, since the standard ones are too long and narrow. Where exactly in bitrix can this be done?

In Bitrix, each element has its own pattern. By default, templates are used from "system" directories. To create your own in the public section, turn on the edit mode and hover your mouse over the form. A small bitrix panel will appear, there will be a gear on it. When you hover, you will see a menu, among other things, "Copy component template". Click - carefully read all that will be in the form that appears. If you don’t remove the "Go to editing" checkbox, then at the end of this wizard’s work, you will open the template for editing. You can edit there, you can ftp (in this form in the header you can spy on the file path).
I advise you to study the courses Bitrix, http://dev.1c-bitrix.ru/learning/ content manager and administrator ... This will save your website from possible problems.
- When I click "Copy Template" and go to edit, will changes take place on the same page where the form is located? Or is a new page being created? And is it possible to set the appearance of the form in that editor? Width, height, style of displaying margins? - Alla
- Not. If you specify a copy of the component template, a copy of the exclusive template of this component will be created. The page will remain the same. It is possible, but it will not be entirely correct. Since there is still html + php. Correct will be edited by ftp. In the same directory where this template.php file will be located (if not, you can create) styles.css in it you can specify styles. Also, if you need uniform styles for input fields throughout the site. You can edit the template_styles.css file in the site template directory .. - Alexander Vorobev
