Check if the mail () function works. If you do not configure sendmail or use the library, for example https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer

    Already solved the problem. It was not even a matter of scripts, just hosting, on which I tested all of this for free accounts, the php mail () function was disabled. Thank you all for trying to help.
