I create the program for the first time. With the help of AVD manager I want to create an AVD but the CPU / ABI field remains empty, the OK button is not highlighted and writes:

No CPU / ABI system image available for this target

You need to download the system image of Android. This is done, as I recall, in the SDK Manager.

    • if this is a comment, send the alarm to the moderators to postpone the response to the comment. if this solution, then all is well (just delete the extra text). - Alex
    • In my opinion, this is quite the answer. What else can I add, a screenshot of the "Download" button? - Nick Volynkin
    • However, you can add a few words about the CPU / ABI system image, what it is and why you need to download separately. And if you need to choose from several - how to choose. - Nick Volynkin

If we are talking about eclipse, then we need to go to the Window-> Android SDK manager and set up the required platforms "ARM EABI v7a System Image". Here is what you need https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13488419/unable-to-create-android-virtual-device .

    • Specify your question - "for the right platforms" ARM EABI v7a System Image "" - how will this help? - 0xdb
