I recently changed the video card to the GTX 1060, I had to reflash the BIOS so that the mother could see the card. Before this was the GTX 660, ubuntu worked, everything was ok. Now I’m trying to start ubuntu 16.04 from a flash drive, when I start it, I write something about an unknown chipset (I don’t have time to write it, the error literally flashes a fraction of a second), then it tries to start the system and after that the monitor goes out, arguing that "LOG IN NOT SUPPORTED" . Tried to stick the monitor into the integrated GPU - the same story. I tried other distros with GUI (Arch, xubuntu) - all the same. Any idea what's wrong? I will be glad to any practical advice.

UPD: Launched on a single integrated graphics - everything works. That is, the problem is most likely in the GPU.

  • @alexolut I'll try to take a picture, yes. I will try to run on the built-in right now too, but in general the essence of these manipulations is to test something on this card. - Shadr
