Kali Linux is a Linux distribution with many ready-made and convenient utilities. He is good at auditing in that he has many ready-made libraries and utilities for finding potential problems. There are also many ready-made hacks to check for old, well-known "holes."
It is also one of the largest similar OS, but it is not omnipotent. The fact that she cannot (the list is longer, these are the ones that came to mind):
- Audit Windows applications. Although some can be checked, but not all.
- Audit other OS. Although you can partially audit the OS, but this is not the goal of Kali Linux.
Kali Linux is more suitable for auditing network systems, but it can be used for other purposes too.
