Greetings.

There is a project under Visual Studio . You may need to transfer this project to MacOS and Ubuntu .

Question: which tools do I need to choose (IDE, compilers, etc.) under Windows , so that I could then transfer it to other platforms without any problems?

Can I stay on Visual Studio and not have problems with the transfer later?

Is there some kind of “special” bundle of tools, thanks to which I can, with minimal changes, simply compile the project for all platforms and everything?

Thank you.

ps Just learning. Do not hit.

  • Cross-platform IDE in bulk, but the main problem is not in them, but in the code :) - PinkTux
  • @PinkTux Well, of course, some things will have to be rewritten, but I’m kind of platform-independent stuff. - JaminPeru
  • Well, I’m not going to tell you about the poppy, but from experience, the code is first written and debugged under Linux, and on Windows it is only brought in little things. So it turns out less fuss than the other way around: windows-code to adapt for Linux. IDE - Eclipse CDT in both cases, but if there is a requirement that the Windows version be assembled in a studio, then without it there is still nothing. True, it is already the assembly is checked in the last turn :) - PinkTux

Emacs Great stuff turns out to be. At first he spat, but succumbed to the entreaties of friends. I set up a whole week, but now I can't get enough of it.
