Hello, I have a question for the course work you need to create a system that identifies economic events (large transactions, international transactions, and so on). Selects participants in events and, if possible, the amount of the transaction.

As I understand it, the topic relates to computational linguistics - to the processing, analysis and synthesis of text. I would like to get some wise advice from more experienced people, there is a list of references, but I cannot really decide which method and algorithm is most effective for solving the problem.

I ask you not to write that this task can be done easily using regular expressions or finite automata (this is the last century, this was done 40 years ago). I would like to know about specific algorithms with the help of which you can solve this problem, but if you drop the list of references, it will not be superfluous either, thanks in advance.

Closed due to the fact that it is necessary to reformulate the question so that it was possible to give an objectively correct answer by the participants of Grundy , Dmitriy Simushev , user194374, Alex , aleksandr barakin Dec 2, 16 at 19:07 .

The question gives rise to endless debates and discussions based not on knowledge, but on opinions. To get an answer, rephrase your question so that it can be given an unambiguously correct answer, or delete the question altogether. If the question can be reformulated according to the rules set out in the certificate , edit it .

  • You already have a list of references, why do you need another one? :) - Dmitriy Simushev

Where do you study computer linguistics? In university? If they don’t give anything there, what will a graduate of a vocational school from some remote place tell you, who can solve regular expression problems using this site, but never heard of finite state machines. Here you could share academic knowledge here. - Sergey
  • My university did not teach computer linguists (well, at least for now), I just read about it. I apologize. Maybe my question caused some kind of indignation from people, I just wanted advice. That's all. - Andrey Novikov
