I display images through

<picture> <source srcset="img2.jpg" media="(max-width: 768px)"> <source srcset="img1.jpg"> <img src="img1.jpg" alt="img1" title="img1" > </picture>

Do I need to write alt and title for internal source tags?

alt is required to be specified only for the img tag.

You can verify this yourself on the HTML5 validator . But since you ask your question in the SEO section, I want to draw your attention to the fact that from these these elements alt and title search engines take information for the so-called Long Tail . Of course, if these elements are valid. That is, by correctly coding these elements you contribute to the promotion of your page / site.
