Comments in single.php are displayed as

<?php comments_template('', true ); ?>

How do i do this? looked in function.php yes there is a construction of a loop of comments, but there it is impossible to insert text anywhere that it would not be repeated in the loop. So how then do? Do you need something from the outside? or ... just just starting to learn the wordpress system and don’t understand some things.

    The number of comments for the post with the number $ post_id can be obtained as follows:

     $number = get_comments_number( $post_id );
