Hello)

The customer wants to make a similar grid on the site, like here: http://secretmag.ru/ , but I just can not understand how it is implemented. I looked at html, first large blocks are displayed, then medium ones, then those with gray icons. Judging by the css, all the blocks are with absolute position, and each one has coordinates, but something is hard to believe that everything is done manually ...

Maybe someone knows which plugin is used there? Or maybe it's some kind of special css-framework?

I would be very grateful for the help !!! :)

  • On the mobile looks like usual. I can assume that the screen sizes are processed on the server and generated, and then, thanks to the cache, they speed up the loading of subsequent pages - Shilgen
  • but something is hard to believe that this is all done manually - cycles are available in any css preprocessor, so it’s not necessary to paint all media requests manually - Grundy
  • Yes, most likely through the preprocessor, but I can’t completely catch on the logic, especially for the middle blocks that have opinions and so on - sharfforever
  • There is a certain cyclical nature here, but it is not clear to me yet. It needs to sit and take apart - Yuri
  • block sizes are fixed - it just remains to arrange them - Grundy
