After long attempts, Linux Betsy2 finally installed on my laptop's SSD. However, when the computer is restarted, the system writes the Loading kernel and then it does not load. Possible reasons I see such:

  1. In the fstab file.

     UNCONFIGURED FSTAB FOR BASE SYSTEM aufs / aufs rw 0 0 tmpfs /tmp tmpfs nosuid, nodev 0 0

    The following lines were added to the file:

     LABEL=root / ext4 defaults 0 1 LABEL=home /home ext4 defaults 0 2 LABEL=swap none swap sw 0 0

    But it did not help much.

  2. The drivers for the video card did not load. I thought that this can be done after installation. (The system was installed without them).

  3. Not downloaded update packages as required by the installation. But the system was installed without them, after all it is a fresh version of the distribution kit.

Please help with an idea or a link. All tips from the Internet have already tried!

    If the boot loader (which one?) Hangs on the kernel load, then the fstab is definitely not there - before it, even as before Turkey on foot. The main hypothesis is that either the loader does not see the file with the image of the kernel (the file name is incorrectly specified), or the image of the kernel simply does not exist on the disk! - Sergey
  • Sergey, thank you very much! I suffered a little more and solved the problem. It was necessary to update grub, it seems, a version conflict of some kind. - Vint
  • @Sergey, there are more interesting surprises, but in most cases your hypothesis is valid. - 0andriy
