Can I force Visual Studio not to replace ““ ”and“ ”” (normal quotes) with ““ ”(quotes in code) when auto-formatting XAML files? I could not find any option for this.

So most of the lines in a separate file, but I transfer them there not immediately - (I want to first make sure that it is convenient and you don’t have to redo it so as not to add extra work for the translators).

  • Hmm, Visual Studio has the same search-and-replace, why not use it? There you can even specify a search in all files with the necessary extension. In my opinion, just what you need. - VladD
