I'm on Windows 8.1 .

Trying to follow the advice of https://superuser.com/questions/178674/setting-vpn-to-go-through-certain-ips-and-not-others/178675#178675

I have a TAP Adapter OAS NDIS 6.0 network connection from OpenVPN Technologies, Inc.

This is what I see in the TCP / IP Settings section:

enter image description here

Please explain why I do not have the option "use default gateway on remote network" and how I can achieve the same result.

You in vain try to use the answer on setup of standard VPN for setup of OpenVPN.

In OpenVPN, such things are configured via a config file.

Here is the option for the client config:

    redirect-gateway

If desired, this option can be sent from the server to all clients:

     push "redirect-gateway"
    • Pavel, please tell me where is this client config? - Boris
    • @Boris anywhere. It depends on how you run OpenVPN on the client. - Pavel Mayorov
    • This may be a * .ovpn file from the folder C: \ Program Files (x86) \ OpenVPN Technologies \ OpenVPN Client \ etc \ profile ? - Boris
    • View the contents of this file - docs.google.com/document/d/… - I deleted the keys there and replaced the real host with 111.111.111.111 - Boris
    • @Boris Well, yes. How else can you translate the "OpenVPN client config file" in the first line? - Pavel Mayorov
