Good day. I need to transfer data from one database to another, simultaneously performing the conversion. Can anyone share best practice how such applications are written and the code is organized? You can write your own on your knee, but you don't want to ride a bike.

Please correct the question so that it describes the specific problem with sufficient detail to determine the appropriate answer. Do not ask a few questions at once. See “How to ask a good question?” For clarification. If the question can be reformulated according to the rules set out in the certificate , edit it .

Such things are called Data Pipeline. But if there is little data and this is a one-time task, then there is no need to use it. Since you spend more time studying the issue than using it.
- Here github.com/transfer-framework/transfer is an interesting solution. There is a performer who performs the tasks one after another, and the task itself is a conveyor, to the input of which data is fed, and at the output it is stored somewhere. - Oleg Khamov
