In VBA, there is a Reference section, where the list of available libraries is displayed.

How can I make sure that some libraries are not displayed in this list? (Ie, remove them altogether from there)

I found the program RegDLLView, which allows you to find any that do not have a physical file, and then you can delete them so that they are not displayed anywhere.

You can also delete the nodes from the registry that refer to the library in the branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{YOUR-CLSID}
