In the documentation, I found that by Alt-Enter Android Studio offers the following options:

  1. Code Inspection Results and Improvement Suggestions
  2. Intention Actions Offers

But there is another group of proposals that are neither one nor the other. For example, when I write an assignment to an as yet undefined variable.

What kind of animals, where to read about them, and whether they can customize?

  • I would say that this is just the Intention Action and judging by the color of the Quickfix suggested light bulb - Mikhail Vaysman
  • It seems to be similar, but there are doubts. Intention Actions can be turned off, but these can not. jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.3/disabling-intention-actions.html And I can not find this action in the list in the settings. Maybe I'm missing something? - tse
  • I never thought about it, but I think that the fastest and most correct way out would be to ask the creators of IDEA. There are great people working there - they will be happy to help. - Mikhail Vaysman
  • Is this not an inspection of an undefinded field? - pavlofff
  • @pavlofff I thought so too at first. But if you start the inspection with your hands, there will not be a word in the list of problems found about this variable, but it will be about less significant problems, such as unused fields and unnecessary imports. From this I conclude that this is not an inspection. Ideas? dropbox.com/s/rnontkd49bawa8k/… - tse

The support responded that it was after all Intention Actions, but hard-coded, so they cannot be seen in the settings and cannot be turned off.

It's Intention Action since Alt + Enter is a shortcut for Show Intention Actions. Some of them are hardcoded and cannot be disabled.
