After creating the Navigation drawer activity, we have 3 vertical bars and, accordingly, the menu, as well as on the right, there are three points. Why do they need something? How to remove them?

Right behind the three dots is the menu. Find onCreateOptionsMenu() in your Activity, and there you will find its creation. Do not need - delete.
