Press "WIN + R", type msconfig, press ENTER. Select the "download" tab and delete the line where Windows XP is specified. Should help

  • In msconfig only Windows 7 is specified - Victor

Computer properties -> Advanced tab -> Options: and there you can choose what to load by default and / or remove the download choice altogether.

  • Two operating systems are indicated, but how to remove a line from XP is not clear. The tick from the item to display the list of operating systems is removed, but the selection window still appears for a moment while loading - Victor

Then try this. Control Panel \ System and Security \ System \ Advanced System Settings \ Advanced \ Boot and Restore \ Settings and uncheck "Show list of operating systems"

  • Do not produce questions. Use the "Edit" button to complete your answer. - Denis
