There is a site on wordpress, a little dopilen and modified in contrast to the usual blog, but is not the point.

Must move to https.

1) buy a certificate on fastvps, they install it to me

2) then check the site itself after installation, as there and that with links. I manually registered some links with http - there are a lot of them, I think the plugin will translate into https

3) in the panel of Yandex webmaster tick - https - I indicate it with the main mirror

4) I write to robots. THT - host: https - with this type of site

And yes, what is the nuance. So far I don’t put redirects from http to https, since according to Yandex’s recommendations, for now, if necessary, set up a redirect from a non-mainstream mirror to the main point. It is undesirable to do this before sites are recognized as mirrors, since in this case pages with redirects will be excluded from the search according to Yandex rules for processing redirects. At the time of gluing the mirrors, if possible, it is better to leave the site accessible to the robot at both addresses.

Do not forget to make a redirect. Such lines of code in the .htaccess file will do:

    RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !^443$ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://site.ru/$1 [R=301,L]

Links of course would be better relative, less crap. Then enable Strict Transport Security and Secure Cookies. If somewhere in the search engines indicated the information, change it and wait for reindexing. And everything else seems to be true.

    • links translated into relative using the plugin. - ayrat358
    • and why a redirect, if now everything is working! in the Wordpress panel just changed https - and that's it - ayrat358
