Is it possible to somehow generate keys for ssh tunnel using the putty console commands?

No The same answer is given on the program page .

The puttygen utility is a GUI utility for generating keys.

If you need SSH keys - then generate them in unix-systems, however, their format will be unix.

When generating from unix, you will have a pair of id_rsa and id_rsa.pub files, and putty has its own key format - there will be two files, .pub and .ppk

Using the puttygen program, you can convert generated keys to unix formats (in the Conversions menu -> Export ...), but I don’t know how to convert keys to putty format from the command line in windows or unix.
