  • Did you find the documentation? Normals - it looks like normals. Edges - borders. - nick_n_a

  • Vertices - vertices (single points in space).

  • PolygonVertexIndex is the vertex reference index. It is used when vertices are placed in a separate list, and the final polyhedron (the model, that is) is formed by assembling polygons (usually triangles) from a list of links to the elements of the list of vertices . The advantage is that the index (unsigned number) is much smaller than the vertex itself (structure) in terms of volume, which reduces the overhead of multiple vertex use when describing adjacent polygons.

  • Edges - facets.

  • Normals - normals (perpendiculars to the surface).

  • UV - coordinates of the projection of the vertex on the texture plane.

  • UVIndex - similar to PolygonVertexIndex , only the texture coordinates are separated. Allows you to use the same vertex in adjacent faces with non-adjacent UV-coordinates.

It should be added that Normals and NormalsW most likely differ in that they are normals to surfaces and vertices, respectively. - Crantisz
  • @Crantisz, where does such confidence come from? Why not the other way around? Maybe NormalsW is the normal in the world coordinate system ( W - World). - ߊߚߤߘ
  • Perhaps I do not know, just guessed. - Crantisz
