Where are contracts kept in Laravel 5.4?

Referring to the documentation? Here is the part about contracts . Based on what has been written, it can be assumed that the Laravel contracts are in the Illuminate\Contracts folder.
But this is just the location of the files, you can define the interface at any convenient place in your module / package and use it during development.
It seems to me to change (add \ delete code \ files) the source code of a framework is not a good idea
