I have the folder /special-offers/index.php and the folder /popular-directions/index.php in my root directory. I saw somewhere that you can just put all the index files of pages into one folder with a name, for example, view, but so that the address bar still displays the correct addresses - /special-offers/ or /popular-directions/ , not /view/special-offers.php/ . What is this feature / technology called and in what frameworks is it most convenient to use?

This feature is called a redirect. It is configured in .htaccess and does not depend on engines and frameworks, a is performed by the server.

For example, in your case, the redirect might be:

  RewriteEngine On RewriteRule special-offers/ /view/special-offers/index.php
