Hello! Can you tell me how you can upgrade openssl to FreeBSD from the console without affecting other components of the system or updating the system itself? Need to get rid of Heartbleed. The current version of OpenSSL 0.9.8y contains a vulnerability. Hosting support service says not to put packages from the ports. I tried to update via pkg_add -r openssl on a new branch. But in the system, even after a reboot, the old version of OpenSSL remains.

    No versions, no hints ...

    cd /usr/src svnlite update cd secure make {secure|insecure}

    Depending on what you have, this option may or may not work. But I gave you the direction of thought :)

    PS: Strange support service. I would refuse such hosting immediately.
