Good evening.

On Windows 10, the following partition table is installed:

How can I reformat a disk without losing data? I need to get the following structure of the first physical disk:

  1. (NTFS), 100mb.
  2. C: (NTFS), 40gb.
  3. D: (NTFS), 20gb.
  4. (NTFS), 450mb.
  5. The remainder is under linux ( swap , / , /home ).

Thanks in advance.

@Mogo Reformatting without data loss is impossible, but you can "repartition", more precisely, resize partitions. For this fit, for example, GParted LiveCD . We load, resize and move sections to full satisfaction. But keep in mind, the process can be very long. - user194374

That is the goal: to take part of the space from the C: drive and transfer it to the D: drive and Linux .

  1. Make sure that the drive C: free is not less than 18.1 ГБ , which you need to reduce its volume (and it is better to have a large supply of free space).
  2. In the same window as in the screenshot ( Правая кнопка на этот компьютер , Управление , Управление дисками ) click on the C: drive C: right-click and select Сжать (Shrink) . You will need to enter how much MB should be reduced.
  3. As soon as the compression process is completed and the unallocated area appears, proceed to expanding the D: Правой кнопкой , Расширить (Extend) disk.
  4. Repeat the extension with the Linux volume.

Too lazy to look for my past answers, but I repeat once again that you risk losing all the screw using absolutely any prog for markup. Just because the implicit glitches, blinking light, bad day. If infa is important - make a backup of files or the entire screw before moving. If not, the latest version of gparted live perfectly compresses and expands Windows partitions.
