Good day. I want to start working with Android. I installed a Studio, created a template project, did not make any changes to it, did not correct even one line, but the emulator still doesn’t even start. I have already managed to google a lot on this topic, but there was no way to solve my problem.
The error itself: Error while Nexus_5_API_24 was killed.

I tried instead to run the template project on my own phone, but my device does not consistently appear in the list of devices. (I already turned on the development mode, if that.)

I also tried to install ADB Driver for myself, and not directly from the main site. However, the samsung_android_usb_driver.exe installer does not even start with the following error.

Of course, I tried to use another installer presented there, ADBDriverInstaller.exe. This option requires a reboot with certain parameters. But that's bad luck, my keyboard does not work until I log in back to the system. That is, in the menu with the choice of the boot method by pressing one of the F-keys, I can only restart the computer by pressing a button on the side of the system unit. Accordingly, it is not possible to continue and complete the installation.

What do you suggest to do?

  • What is the OS, the studio version, the version of the device? And try on your real phone to change the type of connection (charging, MTP, RTR), it helped me. - Rostislav Dugin
