There is a program originally written under Windows on the Qt Creator compiler MinGW. And there is a program that communicates with the modbus slave module. The program under Windows crashes when I display the current chart, namely when I start to move the schedule, zoom in / out.

I compiled it means this program under Linux, I connect the device (Modbus Slave module). I go into graphics, and start playing with them. And now 45,000 packages and the program does not crash. No interference, the code works like a clock. And under Windows, if you move the graphics, immediately "Terminated the work of the program" blah blah bla "".

That is why it is? Under Linux is good, but under Windows such things?

  • And also: I also tried the MVC2015 compiler - the result is the same - razorqhex
  • Perhaps the one who wrote under Windows made a mistake somewhere. Run the program under the debugger and see where it falls so it will be clearer. And better with this problem on Qt bug tracker: bugreports.qt.io - gil9red
  • I wrote this program. And it was written originally under Windows. Only under the same Windows program crashes as soon as I start playing with the schedule. And under Linux everything is fine. I am not a fan of Linux and Windows. I do not care under what OS to work. But there is a problem. How to solve it - I do not know. I am willing to pay for help. But no one responded. - razorqhex
  • I was talking about the developer of the library with which you draw graphics, I assumed that she also enters Qt :) - gil9red
  • No no. The graphics library is QCustomPlot. This library is not part of Qt Creator. And is it really in the library if everything is fine under Linux? - razorqhex
