A message came from Google: the site is blocked, since there is malware on it, and then there is a list of links, in which are pictures of the site, fonts, favicon, etc. When asked how the images are malware, Google did not answer. Replied only the following:

The links I mentioned in the previous letter were re-marked by our experts as malware, so, unfortunately, without deleting this content, the site will not be unlocked.

How to treat it? If necessary, I can attach a list of links.

  • Interesting. Can you add the sender's mail? - Abduhafiz
  • Mail sender adwords-support@google.com - alexsoin
  • This is a very common problem, I think Google. Interesting, the author, you could solve it? We tried pinching, resaving, etc. - It did not help. But this is what concerns the pictures. And what about .css in which there are two lines and those with a description of styles without a single link? - theblackpost
  • @theblackpost corresponded with Google for a long time, in the end they said that everything was fine and unblocked - alexsoin
  • Same problem as in the discussion above. Google's support reported that there is a malicious code in the files of the site ... I just didn’t check the outcome, everything is clear. Example: f5-studio.com/wp-content/themes/f5studio-blog/assets/images/… , f5-studio.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/… , f5-studio.com/wp- content / uploads / 2018/03 / winery.png Fighting and correspondence with support continues for 2 weeks ... - Stanislav Andros

Convert site pictures with any image editor. It will remove the extra malicious code, if any. At a minimum, it will simply replace the pictures with identical ones, but those recorded differently and Google may no longer come to this after conversion.

Fonts re-find and check using the service https://www.virustotal.com

Or on request in google "Rarjpeg". It describes the theory you need.

  • Well, for example, what is the harmfulness of this icon? ozero-cctv.com/favicon.ico Google also identified it as malicious - alexsoin
  • Pictures compressed through bitriks it considers malicious - alexsoin
  • I do not have an explanation why Google says that these pictures place malicious code in themselves. Virustotal on the favicon does not find anything. It is unlikely that Google employees will understand what the matter is in more detail. You can, of course, try to agree with them and achieve explanations referring to the fact that no antivirus sees problems there - but it is unlikely to work out. And you can just squeeze something else and place it there. Above, I just answered your question - how pictures can have a virus in themselves) - Andrew
