On of.sayte indicated that curses contained in the package luaposix , which is already installed, however, when trying to connect the curses package, the interpreter gives an error due to the fact that the package is not installed / exists

    To begin with, you need to do require"posix" , not "connect the curses package".

    Please read the documentation on LuaPosix (there are even examples there, and, like, even there were these with curses)
