    You can use the regular expression and the match function:

     var text = 'Андрусов Анатолий Никифорович пошёл выпить чай у берега Гудзона.'; var symbols = text.match(/[А-Я]/g); console.log(symbols);

    PS Strange you have a suggestion, however :)
