How to determine through js the source of loading images in the browser, from the cache, or does a request to the server occur?

The way "by eye", that is, to enjoy the speed of the appearance of the picture is not the way out.
Catching a request from the server also does not work, only js.

The question is somewhat strange. On the one hand, you ask how to programmatically find out where the picture is (and this is most likely impossible). On the other hand, they mentioned the option "by eye", which implies no software implementation at all. If you just want to know where the picture came from, open the developer tools for F12, the Network tab, and look at all the requests for the page, there will be a request for the picture, and the place where it comes from. If you want to use and learn this in code by program, then I wonder why this may be necessary at all. - teran
  • @teran, yes, in the Networks tab, in the size tab is written (from memory cache) , which is fine with the answer. I just completely forgot that you can see it there too, usually I’ll debug an animation there. The program path was not obligatory, but the usual goal was debugging. Thank. - VostokSisters

  • I do not understand. You stupidly stole the top-starter's response from the commentary without trying to even clarify it or at least check it out. So I think that it is not useful. - Duck Learns to Take Cover
  • @ DuckTellUnder there are only 2 comments, one of which clearly says that it will suit for the answer. I understand if there were a huge number of comments, among which the answer would have to be validated or quoted. It was a joke, no more - in that I stole the answer, be a little easier. - Silento
  • This is just ok as a commentary for a dude who figured out himself but not in my opinion is not at all ok as an answer, because in this form it contains at least two inaccuracies in one line, not to mention the fact that there are at least two settings for which it does not work and it's just for the webcam. Were not lazy at least a screenshot to make chtoli, I would not be outraged. But in this form it is an answer of disgusting quality. - Duck Learns to Take Cover
  • Well, okay, this is a joke. I myself am a fan of joking with CO. But what's the joke? - VostokSisters
