I will clarify my question: When creating a website in modern trends of web development, what standard values do you think you need to write to the CSS file, so to say, template, for example, resetting padding and margin, etc. For example, if I am going to create a website with adaptability, then what values should I write to an empty css file at the very beginning of work? I understand that there are different tasks and, accordingly, different approaches, but I am interested in your opinion. In other words: what does your css template look like?

You can use css reset, such as Eric Meyer's “Reset CSS” 2.0 or normalize.css . They reset the values so that css is cross-browser.
More powerful you can use the Web Starter Kit (well, or find in google.ru for the Starter kit phrase)

      From myself I will add:

      1. Google Web Starter Kit - a complete framework from Google
      2. godlike.css is a small library (by the way, I participated in its development), which helps developers more easily cope with daily difficulties by resetting standard styles, fixing browser bugs and adding usability. xa
