I decided to study ruby, along with ruby on rails and started by installing ide. I read on the forums that vim with plugins is a very good fit (and indeed I have long wanted to learn how to use it). I learned more or less to use it and sat down to install plug-ins. Really found her manuals and could not do anything.

How to properly configure vim for ruby, and, if possible, add a list of useful repository with plugins? Or just throw links with materials on this topic. I sit on ubuntu (or rather elemtaryOS).

Thank you in advance. Everyone + to karma.

That is, are you going to study Ruby, Ruby on Rails and Vim right away? And depending on what else you can, SQL, HTTP, Linux administration? Or maybe it's better to start with something one? - D-side
  • Well, I’ve been to linux for a long time, I know java well, and I’ve already learned something from vim, so yes, I’ll study at the same time, although if you have problems with it, you’ll probably have to learn it alone - Ula La
