I use the program LevelHelper and Xcode , 90GB was free from a week ago, and gradually this place is eaten during the work of these programs (I tend more to say that this is because of LevelHelper ), now I have 3GB I cannot understand where this place goes. I thought that the Keshes remain and accumulate, but in the folders with caches it is empty.

Can anyone tell me how to find where this place has gone, and how to calculate a folder with such a large amount of rubbish?

  • @avp I understand the last line of the command shows the total amount .. it writes "37G", while in the Storage section it says that I have 147 GB of purely System. - xXxxX
  • Well, I do not see where and from under whom you du run ... Look (df) what file systems you have at all mounted and how much is busy and free. Then (better from the root) run du and explore its output. In fact, everything should converge. - avp
