A question for understanding.

I sell several applications through GP (both paid applications, and content). With an enviable share of regularity in the "Order Management" I see the status of "Payment Declined" or "Canceled." The docks say that this is possible due to various reasons (for example, lack of money, incorrect operator, etc.). But some buyers try to make a purchase several (up to 8!) Once at different times and it still does not pass. I think that people are smart enough to put money at least from the second time :)

Therefore, perhaps the reason for cancellations in something else? Perhaps you need to somehow somehow customize the publication of the application, make changes to the code, etc.?

Or, and other published developers will support me, is this normal - about 30% of rejected payments?

Honestly, I do not know, but I will say this: I never bought the content in the application myself, but there were cases when I accidentally (and not only) clicked on the buy button and canceled. -

  1. Cancellation of payment due to added value. Now in many countries, Google shows the price without the% tax. When paying, the user already sees the full cost. We have added a little, in some countries - quite a lot. This affects failure.
  2. Cancellation of payment by mistake. Here I have grouped all such options. I will not consider them separately.
  3. Transaction problem. As I understand it, at the level of interaction with the bank. In some cases, the payment will not be received despite the fact that the user will receive the program. In some cases, parental control is activated, canceling payment made by the child, etc.
  4. Programs hackers a la "Freedom". These "8 times", as a rule, are caused by them.

Perhaps there are more options.

PS 30% is not so much :) Although everything depends on the price and subject matter (read: audience).
