I have a simple WordPress site. On its main page - the menu, sidebar and a list of the latest news. Each news is a block with a brief description and a link to the full text.

Is it possible to make so that using the given html / css template, for each new news a new page of the site will be formed, where its full text would be displayed, and a link would be generated (using id, data or whatever), which would be used in the corresponding block on the home page?

  • @EduardMisk connection - as in a regular news site. The main page contains brief news content, with links to the news itself. And when you click on the link, the corresponding article opens with the full text. I want to know how to make it so that when you add a new entry in WP, a new page is formed on the site with this text. And on the main page there was a summary with a link - illia_6655321

In fact, the page with the full content of the article is created by the system after the transition to the "published" state (although the preview is available to the administrator), and its standard template is contained in single.php in the theme folder. There the code can be any. - Eduard Misk
