People tell me whether there are local versions of In Memory Data Base in the form of libraries, so that on the client side there is no need to deliver anything extra, ideally a cross-platform solution. There is certainly an option to put SQLite into the RAM, but it was not done for this.

Task: to process a large amount of data on the client in real-time.

  • Not fundamentally, I was talking about the finished lib, which has an interface for interacting with any language, be it with / c ++ / python or something else. - arch
  • Sqlite can work as an in-memory database. See sqlite.org/inmemorydb.html - Yaant
  • I know about this, it is written in the post that it is possible, but you need an alternative option, to roll the base in a few GB in sqlight is not comme il faut - arch
  • SQLite is called. And what is not comme il faut? No less comical than other options. At a minimum, this one is carefully tested. - D-side
