I have a folder with the contents of / var / cache / apt / archive /, in it all the packages (deb-packages) that I installed on this Ubuntu PC. I will transfer this folder as an archive to another Ubuntu PC, unzip it. I can install all these packages with the command:

dpkg -i /те/файлы/из/var/cache/apt/archive/*.deb

But this command will install all the packages, and I need to install only those packages that are not yet installed, and those that are installed should be skipped.

  • The answer entirely depends on the reason for the “need to skip”. - aleksandr barakin
  • @alexanderbarakin for the reason that they are already installed. - Daniel
  • @alexanderbarakin the installed packages themselves will be skipped? - Daniel
  • one
@alexanderbarakin in honor of the fact that I need already installed versions, and not those that I want to skip. - Daniel
  • about! The reason has appeared. So remove from the catalog those versions of the packages that do not suit you. but, as I understand it, you follow the tips from your previous questions, and be prepared for the fact that if you do not upgrade the packages that need to be updated, then those dependent on these new versions will not be properly configured, and therefore may remain in non-working (or semi-working) condition. good luck to you! - aleksandr barakin
