I have an SATA 2.0 connection interface on my motherboard. I want to put an SSD instead of a HDD, the question comes up: because modern SSDs are compatible with SATA 3.0 (I know that the transfer rate of SATA 2.0 = up to 3 Gb / s and in SATA 3.0 up to 6 Gb / s) so I wonder how much I lose in speed if I use SSD connected via SATA 2.0 rather than SATA 3.0 and will it be noticeable in my daily work?

Not noticeably, the main effect of SSD is the speed of access to data, and not just copying speed, SATA 2.0 has a speed of 300 MB / s, which of course will not fully realize the potential of many SSD drives, but the difference when replacing HDD with SSD will be very noticeable.
