Good time of day. Please tell me whether it is possible to implement this: when a user works with a file through the application (in my case, encrypts it) and saves it, then you can access this file, you can delete it only when you enter the password that this user specified That is, the file will be opened only for reading by outside people. The application is written in order if several people work at the computer. I already thought about the user group and the administrator. But I do not understand how to do it. Thank you) The application is written in visual studio (windows forms)

  • If the file is encrypted, only the one who knows the password can read and change it. But in any case, the administrator can delete it. Well, put the hidden and system attributes on the file to make it harder to find outsiders. - Alexander Petrov
  • And in what format is the encrypted file? *.txt ? - Andrei Khotko
  • @AndreiKhotko file is encrypted in any format - AliciaWulf
  • It is impossible to fight against the administrator, he can always change access rights and delete the file. And against ordinary users is not a problem, just configure the rights to access the file in the file system. - VladD
